Post-Secondary Education Support

Post-Secondary Education

Students with disabilities who are planning to go immediately into post-secondary education (college, trade schools, and similar) often have coursework that focuses exclusively on the academic side of their needs. The scholastic program often doesn't take into account social-emotional needs, learning accommodations, housing differences, or other 'softer' skills that might be relevant.

My role is help you, the student and family, think about what is needed as part of the whole picture of what the individual needs to be successful.

My services for post-secondary education pathway support and development include:
  • Initial Consultation and Planning
  • Review of High School Programming and Consultation
  • Review of Specific College Support Plans and Consultation
  • Timeline and Logistic Planning for Pre-College Acceptances
